Kerron Edmunson is an Associate Consultant with Incyte. She is a qualified attorney and solicitor operating a consultancy business in Johannesburg, offering strategic legal, regulatory and commercial support to clients in the information and electronic communications industries, formerly known as telecommunications and broadcasting.
Her experience includes having advised five governments on the privatization of telecommunications operators; and advising various governments on licensing and regulatory frameworks for telecommunications and broadcasting.
She has advised the World Bank and IFC; advised on commercial and corporate transactions in new technology, media and communications ventures; advised on acquisitions and disposals; and advised a variety of private clients on regulation in the telecommunications and satellite, media, and postal sectors.
In Africa, Kerron has worked on projects in South Africa, Swaziland, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, Kenya, DRC, Cameroon, Liberia, Sudan, and Nigeria.
Kerron holds BA and LLB degrees from the University of Witwatersrand, and is admitted to practice law in South Africa and the UK.
